Refund and Return Policy

Overview

Last Updated: 16.03.2026

At Olive Wood Collections, we take immense pride in the craftsmanship and historical significance of our 1,000-year-old olive wood creations. Due to the unique nature of our products, our policy is as follows:

All Sales are Final

Because each of our pieces is a one-of-a-kind functional art piece, handcrafted to specific organic shapes and dimensions, we do not accept returns or exchanges for any reason once the purchase is completed and the item has been shipped.

Refusal of delivery due to import duties or local taxes does not constitute a valid reason for a refund.

Why We Do Not Accept Returns

  • Uniqueness: No two tables or mirrors are alike. The item you receive is a unique artifact that cannot be resold as “new” once it has been delivered to a home.
  • High-Value Logistics: The cost of specialized international shipping, crating, and insurance for these monumental pieces is substantial. Returning such items poses a high risk of damage to the wood and resin.

Damaged During Shipping (The Exception)

Your satisfaction and the integrity of the piece are our top priorities. If your order arrives damaged during transit:

  • You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery at info@olivewoodcollections.com
  • Please provide high-resolution photos of the damaged packaging and the product itself.
  • In the case of proven shipping damage, we will work with the insurance provider and the carrier to provide a repair, a partial refund, or a replacement depending on the severity of the damage.
  • Please inspect the crate/packaging before signing the delivery receipt. If external damage is visible, ensure the courier notes it on the delivery document.

Order Cancellations

We allow a 24-hour window from the time of purchase to cancel your order for a full refund. Once the 24-hour period has passed, the order moves into the final crating and logistics phase, and cancellations can no longer be accepted.

5. Natural Characteristics

Please note that natural cracks, “live edges,” and organic wood textures are not considered defects. These are the celebrated hallmarks of 1,000-year-old olive wood. By purchasing, you acknowledge that you appreciate these natural variations.

By completing your purchase, you agree that the organic variations in grain, color, and texture are the defining essence of the piece and are not eligible for ‘not as described’ claims
