FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. How do I purchase a piece I see in the catalog? Our website serves as a digital showcase for our premium olive wood collection. When you click “View Details” on a specific piece, you will be securely redirected to our official storefronts on trusted marketplaces like Etsy or Amazon. We use these platforms to process payments to ensure you receive the highest level of buyer protection, secure transactions, and optimized international shipping rates.

2. Do you sell finished furniture or just raw wood? While we occasionally feature finished statement pieces, our studio is primarily dedicated to the creator. Our main focus is supplying premium, semi-finished raw materials—such as museum-grade slabs, turning blanks, and burls—for woodworkers, epoxy resin artists, and custom furniture designers to complete in their own workshops.

3. Is your olive wood ethically sourced? Absolutely. We operate under a strict zero-waste and ethical harvesting philosophy. All our timber is sourced from the historical groves of Nicaea (İznik, Turkey). We never fell living or productive trees. We only reclaim and rescue trees (aged 200 to 2,000 years old) that have naturally fallen, died, or been damaged by natural elements.

4. The wood has cracks or holes. Is this a defect? Not at all; it is the signature of history. Because we deal in ancient, naturally dried root and trunk systems, features like live edges, deep voids (holes), and minor surface checking (cracks) are entirely normal. In fact, these organic characteristics are highly sought after by our clients, particularly for epoxy resin casting and sculptural woodworking. You are buying a unique piece of nature, not a factory-made product.

5. Will I receive the exact piece shown in the photo? Yes. Every piece of ancient olive wood is completely unique. Unless a product is specifically labeled as a multi-quantity generic blank, the photographs in our catalog represent the exact, one-of-a-kind slab or burl you will receive.

6. Do you offer wholesale pricing or custom cuts for large projects? Yes, we frequently collaborate with design studios, professional woodworkers, and retailers. If you require bulk orders, wholesale pricing, or specific bespoke dimensions not listed in our catalog, please reach out to us directly through our Contact Us page. We handle B2B inquiries and custom commissions directly.

7. What are your shipping and return policies? Since all standard catalog acquisitions are processed through our Etsy or Amazon storefronts, your order is strictly governed by the shipping timelines and return policies listed on those platforms. We ship worldwide, and the exact shipping cost and delivery estimates will be calculated at checkout on the respective marketplace.
